WHAT IS GASTRIC BALLOON?
The gastric balloon is made of medical-grade polyethylene that is flexible and stretchable. An insert tube is inserted into the stomach, and a filling apparatus is used to fill it with a saline solution. The balloon is too huge to fit into the intestine when inflated, so it stays in the stomach for months. Patients become full considerably more quickly and hungry much less frequently. HOW DO WE PUT GASTRIC BALLOON INTO STOMACH?
